Busting the Myth
Some companies will tell you that you do not need to clean your ceiling cassette heat pump.
Like a mini-split heat pump, ceiling cassette heat pumps collect dirt, dust, mould, and other allergens. Breathing in these contaminants can result in respiratory illnesses such as allergies, cold and flu symptoms and respiratory infections. In addition, in those with respiratory disorders such as asthma and COPD, these contaminants can be hazardous to their health.
HydroKleen Atlantic uses heavy-duty vinyl catchment bags specifically designed to clean ceiling cassette heat pumps. Our technicians leave no mess behind thanks to our specially designed catchment bag. We use our patented HydroKleen system to clean and sanitize the unit inside and out.
What to Expect During Your HydroKleen Appointment
You will meet your friendly, uniformed HydroKleen Atlantic technician at the beginning of your appointment. First, they will take a speed and temperature test of your ceiling cassette heat pump. Next, they will place our heavy-duty vinyl catchment bag under your indoor unit. The catchment bag ensures absolutely no mess or damage is made to your home or business while your heat pump is being HydroKleened.
Your technician will explain every step of the process. They will show you everything they’re doing and are standing by to answer any question you may have happily. They will thoroughly clean the outer plastics of the unit, deep clean and sanitize the indoor head and then clean the outdoor unit – we clean everything inside and out!
Your technician will again test the speed and temperature of the heat pump when the cleaning is complete. This reading will show you the difference your cleaning has made to your unit. They will then sit down with you to go over HydroKleen’s comprehensive checklist and our Service Guarantee, pass on important information about your heat pump and answer any other questions.
Remember, it’s not clean unless it’s HydroKleened!
