Lint Buildup
Every time you operate your dryer, soggy lint particles are scattered throughout your dryer and inside the dryer vent. In turn, the wet particles of lint build up layers of lint left behind by previous loads of laundry. Over time, this creates a very dense buildup inside your dryer and throughout the duct.
Tough lint buildup reduces your dryer’s efficiency. Since the airflow through the duct is reduced, it is harder for your dryer to dispel moisture and lint. In turn, your dryer must work harder and longer to dry clothing. As a result, both your electricity bill and the risk of mechanical failure go up. Additionally, the tough lint buildup traps heat in the duct, severely increasing the risk of a dryer fire in your home. In addition, the dense layer of lint buildup is difficult to remove without the proper equipment.
Our HydroKleen Atlantic technicians have the necessary equipment and skill to thoroughly remove the built-up layers of lint inside your dryer, dryer hose and the outside vent.
